cornbread & buttermilk bloomers xl

my granddaddy Troy used to love cornbread and buttermilk and I thought it was so funny and odd- but he loved it and I can see him out on the front porch of my memories, with a tall glass of cornbread crumbled into buttermilk- an ice tea spoon to eat it from… he also would put cream on jello which I guess would be similar to melted whip cream but very country- he loved old fashioned meals and he grew the best vegetables in his big garden.

I guess we all look back in time on occasion and I sure do miss my grandparents- the rocking chairs and hanging baskets of flowers on her porch meant home.

anyway- these bloomers are all in cream and white- with an embroidered pocket, lots of ruffles and gathered pleats in the front for showing off your best boots!
