Abbigail In The Rose Garden Having Tea And Cakes Dress

Abbigail loves to sit among the roses in her garden having tea with her friends on Sundays.

She brings out her finest most delicate tea sets, sterling silver tea pot with cream and cubes of sugar sparkling in the late afternoon sunshine.

The tiny cakes are fit for a fairy queen and the butterflies flutter about the zinnias and marigolds.

The canopy of trees are hung with silk Japanese lanterns and as the afternoon wanders into twilight the sound of happy laughter carries across the breeze like a gentle breath of jasmine.

Abbigail loves to sew and as she added bits of embroidered linens to this creation she smiled a joyful smile as each piece brought back a memory of other tea parties shared with her friends.

Red tiny checks in a homespun style cotton adorned with “social climber” roses by Anna Marie Horner. Lots of linens, butterfly with doll head and feedsack reproduction fabrics.

Pockets on the front and a generous width- 60” across the front and 42.5” from shoulder to hem.
